Fen's Blog

It's been three months already. (More, but I lost track of time...)

I love my notebooks still. I love the flexible setup and the way they feel in my hands and I love writing by hand, too. I enjoy putting down stickers and collecting memories and making these unsuspecting pieces of cardboard and paper my personal memory keepers. I'm still totally unable to keep a to-do list or plan anything substancial. But I'm using my notebooks and I love them.

I have shifted to use my digital to-do list - simply because sometimes I forget shit and I can't be forgetting shit all the time. We will get nowhere with that. But collecting memories and feelings and journaling and exploring my mind, that's still a on paper only kind of thing. And intend to keep it that way

Truthfully, I don't have all that much to tell. I am amazed how well I am keeping my notebooks, especially my travelel's notebook, but also I think that's just what happens when you find a system that works for you. So let me leave you with this:
You don't have to follow anyone else's blueprint for how to journal or memory keep or plan out your life. Instead, focus on you. On what works for you. On what makes you happy. What makes you productive or whimsical or whatever it is that you plan to achieve.

Be true to yourself.
